Introduction:
One of Silverstone’s Project Co-ordinators approached us with an enquiry regarding the provision of reliable Fixed IP connectivity for their Park & Ride experience at the British Formula 1 Grand Prix. The venue required a controlled, cost-effective solution to ensure seamless and accessible device connectivity without data usage restrictions.
Findings:
We identified the network with the optimum coverage at each of the proposed sites to maintain maximum network reliability and connections.
Recommendations:
For the wider mobile phone connections, and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by Silverstone, we analysed call and data consumption usage. We recommended doubling the data allowance to prevent unnecessary overage costs.
Conclusion:
We successfully implemented a solution that doubled Silverstone’s data allowance while simultaneously reducing overall service costs by 38%.
